iTutor Chemistry Updates

Today I did some stuff in the lab and I'm curious if my reaction process worked. I reacted glycerol with different lactate salts (or at least I think I did). My question is if glycerol will react with lactate salts. More specifically, does magnesium lactate react with glycerol. It seemed like it did. The color became a very light yellow and became more viscous.
