:) That's right!!! I'm having difficulties to resolve a V-vi. The the soprano is given and can't be changed.deceptive cadence.jpg The errors marked are consecutive octaves. I don't know why but it marks no errors for not resolving the leading tone to the tonic (which happens in other voicings). I tried several voicing combinations and none seems to be working. Since this is a usual cadence (deceptive, I think) I don't understand why it's so difficult...I suspect that the upward movement in the soprano, from F# to B is causing these problems.
